Daria Vasileva is visual artist and fashion illustrator.

People and fashion are primary objects of her paintings since they have always served as constant source of inspiration for her. In her artworks, Daria seeks to surpass the boundaries of fashion illustration, seamlessly transforming them into captivating fashion portraits. Her style is influenced by classic art, where the narrative, emotions, and sheer beauty of the moment take center stage alongside with the depiction of individuals and their surroundings. Each painting she creates tells a unique story. By utilizing figurative art, fashion and decor as powerful tools Daria explores the intricate relationship between fashion and one's individuality. In her painting she is driven by the desire to showcase fashion through her personal perspective: she captures interaction between characters and fashion in everyday situations beyond fashion shows.

 

Daria prefers to work with traditional mediums. All her artworks are hand-painted with watercolors, the medium that gives incredible texture and transparency. Her painting style is result of the fusion of fashion illustration with traditional figurative art and decorative art, utilizing patterned fabrics and bold colors. Her artworks are colorful, elegant, and poetic.
